I am a law graduate as well as a life-long student of writing as it is a constant learning process for me.
This blog is an introspection into life, lifestyle, philosophy and social issues. I enjoy reflecting on the deeper meaning and spirituality behind things, and meditation helps me know more about the inner self and about life in general.
I attend free meditation at the local Phoenix Sahaja Yoga center at 2434 E. Osborn Road (there are free centers all over the U.S. and outside) and truly enjoy how it enriches my life.
Growing up at an international boarding school, I’ve developed a keen interest in various cultures, philosophies, religions, lifestyles and much more and have come to realize that true spirituality lies within. Besides pure meditation, my blog is a study of society and the state of the inner self.
More: I love sports, (although I don’t follow it on TV). I’m not as active as before but still manage a game of tennis every now and then. Some other interests include travel, music, sufi and similar poetry (Rumi, Bulleh Shah, Kabir, Gibran etc.), also books like “War and Peace”, “Lord of the Rings”, ”Nelson Mandela: Long walk to freedom” and much more that I can’t think of right now. I usually enjoy any book that’s a page-turner, although I’m not into depressing stories. Whether in books, travel, music or poetry, I look for inspiration.
Three essential qualities in life?
Joy, playfulness and inner calm
